This is an early commission for a garden sculpture, I was still using ideas I had used in my painting and collage work. Hence I feel this sculpture to be a bit under-worked, I have offered to rework it for the owner but he insists he likes it as it is !

I had done a number of art pieces on the theme of dissection of animals, this piece was along those lines but it turned out more like a balloon animal than a real one due to its soft, rounded shapes. The stone itself was a lovely cream and blue limestone.
