I was having dental problems at the time I carved this, so it turned out a bit like a tooth. I also like this one for its unpredictable form which contrasts with the stubborn toughness of the stone. This was the largest granite piece I had attempted at the time, I used incised lines quite a lot because they stood out quite a lot with this stone and also they followed the underlying theme I had of cut up and dissected animal material.
